Why I want to see it: Watch the trailer and tell me you don’t want to see this movie. There has been so much hype surrounding Terrence Malick’s latest project, and if this trailer is any indication, I think this movie is going to be really great.

I’ve been neglecting this blog quite a bit lately, but it’s pretty understandable with life and school. But, finals are over and I am home now. Which means I have tons of free time on my hands. And although I don’t want to promise, I’m hoping to put some of that free time to use and post some things on here. There’s been tons of movie news lately - new trailers, new casting news and a ridiculous amount of nominations and films walking away with top honours (or I guess I should say one film, The Social Network).
Before I delve back into posting trailers and the such, I wanted to post this video. This video does a wonderful job at capturing some of the best moments from this past year of movies. My favourite clip included in the video? Kristen Wiig’s screaming face from MacGruber.
Some of the The King’s Speech posters released so far haven’t been all to impressive. But, I really love this one. Simple and clean, I like it.
‘Your Highness’ trailer
I am much too tired to write up very much on this movie for now, but this looks like it is going to be hilarious! And I must say, Natalie Portman was looking pretty sexy in this trailer.

It’s not the best quality, but here’s the poster for Blue Valentine. This is one of the movies that I am most looking forward to this year, and this poster just got me more excited!
This is the first thing I’ve even heard about this movie, but here is the poster for Jane Eyre. The film stars Mia Wasikowska and will be released in March 2011.
Just Go With It
Release Date: Feburary 11th, 2011
Starring: Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston
Why I want to see it: I’m not going to be rushing to the theatres to see this movie at all, but I would consider going to see it on cheap Tuesday. From the trailer, it seems that when you get Sandler and Aniston together, they’ve got pretty good comedic chemistry. Romantic chemstiry though seems to be lacking.. Although Adam Sandler movies aren’t as good as they used to be (Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison), and Jennifer Aniston isn’t as good in movies as she is in TV, I still like them both enough to give this movie a try. Hopefully I’ll get a few laughs in the process!
I’m always excited when new things come out about The King’s Speech, but I’m a bit disappointed with this poster to be honest. Something just looks off.. and the tag line is a tad cheesy don’t you think? But if you look past that all, the best thing about it is how dashingly handsome Colin Firth looks!
